My Mission with Sunnydale Stables is to provide quality horse care, instruction, and horses to the everyday horse enthusiast.

  I am a certified BHS (British Horse Society) instructor who has also ridden thru the preliminary level in eventing, with the plans and potential for more.

  Though my pimary focus is on eventing I also show some hunter/jumper and dressage. I have trained with Many top level riders including Diann Roffe, Sharon Best, Karen Karkow, and currently with Darren Chiacchia. I have also done lessons/clinics with Bruce Davidson, Kathy Woods-Copa, Denny Emerson, Mike Plumb, Robert Costello, Will Coleman and many, many more.

   I grew up riding at a local eventing barn under BHS certified instructor Becky Backer and after many years there, I then went on to become a working student for Sharon Best and Karen Karkow at Foxhill Farm. I decided to pursue my equestrian passion even more when I moved to Ireland to study for my BHS examinations, where I stayed at the Clonshire Equestrian Centre under the instruction on Sue and Dan Foley.

   I believe that every trainer needs to stay keen in our riding skills, so I try and participate in as many lessons or clinics as possible.  I also believe that we can take something from every lesson we have with a trainer and  learn from every horse we sit on.

  My pesonal goals are to ride at the advanced level in eventing and to also have more students out there competeing with me.

Jamie is my wife who I say co-owns the farm with me..because with out her support none of this would be possible. Even though she doesn't have alot of equine experience she is always willing to help out in anyway that she can.
